The causes of temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) and TMJ pain are multifactorial with important factors originating from the neuromusculoskeletal and fascial systems between the TMJ and the cervical spine. Therapeutic lasers are an effective adjunct to oral appliances, biomechanical correction programs and injection therapies in the treatment of temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD). The webinar presents techniques to integrate therapeutic lasers into TMD treatment programs.

Nowadays patients are more aware of the benefits of therapeutic lasers, including the reduced use of opioids. Providing laser therapy as part of your TMD clinical procedures increases practice visibility and patient referrals.
