Bio:
Dr. Cantu has been practicing gentle Chiropractic care in Illinois and then Virginia for 20 years. He has an additional sub-specialty in musculoskeletal radiology and advanced imaging. He was an integral member of a research team at National University of Health Sciences for 20 years, studying how spinal manipulation helps with low back pain, and designed an Xray Technologist Certification Course. Dr. Cantu's clinical interests include the conservative management of acute and chronic back pain with an emphasis on spinal manipulation and physical therapeutics. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of adults and adolescents with spine-related conditions including headaches, arm and/or leg pain with a strong emphasis on patient education. His special interests include research of the cause and treatment of low back pain and sports-related injuries.
